I am a filmmaker, lecturer, and artist I am passionate about the audio-visual medium and nurturing the literacy and practice of the craft in South Africa. I have been teaching film, directing short films, shooting documentaries, and hosting screenings for the past 10 years My films have been screened at local and international film festivals as well as on local television. I have been involved with putting together film programs for the Stellenbosch woordfees, AVIFF(Cannes France), Absa KKNK, Boekejol, and iMPAC festival. I own half of a small production company Sacred Animal films. I am in the process of completing a Masters’s Degree in Visual Arts at Stellenbosch University.
